Keynote: Bill Gates,
CEO of Microsoft
Mr. Gates took a look into the non-PC future of
computing and Microsoft's portable device
initiatives. Bill continued to tout NT's scalability
by buying a car from Ford.com which he claims gets
500 million hits a day. Other demos showed devices
like the Windows CE based Auto-PC allowing you to
access travel information and make trip plans while
driving. All of this seemed designed to underscore
Bill's central point, that a unified Windows OS, in
the palm and on the server, makes innovation easier.
