Reviews OnLine is attending the Digital Frontier Conference at the J.L Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University located in Evanston, Illinois. This year's theme is "Entrepreneurship in Technology". The conference focuses on successful entrepreneurial ventures and the individuals who drive them. I found a new startup company that was broadcasting the conference on the Internet.

Perceptual Robotics, Inc., a startup company from Evanston, Illinois, was transmitting the keynote address, along with the rest of the conference, using the equipment shown. It consists of a digital camera that can pan left and right along with the required computer/server to interface to the web. Their product allows individual web users to control a remote camera over the Internet. This makes remote cameras much more interesting because you can get the picture you want and this products lets you look around the room, just like you were there!

After the keynote address, I discussed this new product and digital photography in general, with Kevin Convery of Perceptual Robotics' Sales and Marketing department.
