The first year of Digital Photo Expo was held at the Rosemont Convention Center in Illinois. Here are some of the important products we found at the show.

Epson's latest camera - 3000Z
This 3.3 megapixel camera was recently announced by Epson.

Canon new Powershot S100
This camera was one of two Canon camera models that were announced during Digital Photo 2000. This Digital Elph is a very compact, 2 megapixel camera and should retail at $699. Available in June 2000.

The new Canon Powershot S100 (Digital Elph) is even smaller than the recently announced Canon S20, announced earlier in the year at PMA 2000. The S100 is the same size as the film based (APS) Elph, while the S20 boasts a 3.3 megapixel image in a slightly larger package. The S20 is currently shipping at $799.

Olympus C-3030 Zoom

This is a 2.5 megapixel camera.

Comparison of Toshiba PDR-M5 and Fujifilm MX-2900 Z
These two cameras appear to share a great deal of similar features, along with their similar shape. The Toshiba has AVI (movie) output, and is a 2.1 megapixel digicam, while the Fujifilm MX-2900 has a larger 2.3 megapixel imaging element.
