Within Fireworks, the Batch Process environment allows you to easily setup complex batch operations. You can easily specify files to process and the actions to perform on these files. Some of the simpler ones are:
Export (change the file format)Scale (modify the image dimensions)Rename (change file name according to specified rules)Find and replace (change text such as font names and URLs
in HTML files)
While other software packages can perform similar tasks, Fireworks allows you to set a maximum width and height when you scale, instead of the simpler "set width/height to" a fixed value or scale by a fixed percentage.
