Intelliquis Traffic Analyzer
helps make sense of your site logs
by Rick Smith (June 10, 2001)
While nearly every Internet Web server generates access logs, few people actually use them, since these logs contain only raw data and statistical analysis can be complicated. Intelliquis has created Web Site Traffic Analyzer to help you easily summarize your logs and analyze them.

Web Site Traffic Analyzer installs easily and appears to read nearly every log file format. It quickly produces a great deal of useful information in both textual and graphical format. It can process local log files that were already downloaded, as well as logs that are stored on a web or FTP server. Another great feature is that the traffic log does not have to be one single file. This is very useful since 500 megabyte server logs are well beyond most text editors, so they are not easy to edit and combine.
Here are some of the useful statistics that Traffic Analyzer generates:
most popular image and web page on your site
how many hits per day your site receives
most popular visiting hour and day of week
site bandwidth per day
visitor technical data - their browser, operating system and domain
site flow between pages
