MP3s now go the distance

Akoo.com announced availability of its wireless Kima accessory that pushes the digital music boom outside of your computer room.
In short, the $149 Kima uses 900 MHz band to broadcast streaming audio from your PC (or any other sound source) up to 1,000 feet away. There the Kima receiver, in turn, can be hooked up to any audio equipment or can re-broadcast the audio over one of two available FM frequencies to any FM receiver.
Bottom-line: Kima gives digital audio a farther reach into your home (and beyond) than it has had before. Now you can share the digital audio wealth with the whole family.
