Rick Smith has been a Senior Editor for Reviews OnLine since October 1997. He bought his first car in 1975, when he bought a new DeTomaso Pantera, which he still owns. He works on most of his cars and has serviced German, Swedish, Japanese, English and American cars.
He is based in Illinois and regularly attends many industry trade shows. The computers he uses the most are his IBM Thinkpad 755CE laptop, his Compaq Concerto pen computer and an HP 200LX for calendar and phone numbers. He uses a clone Pentium 233MMX when faster speed and interface cards are needed.
